A sense of normality has returned to Andrew's life after he encountered Usaki. He had been buying more equipment to build up his DJ career and more computers... Just to have them |D  As usual, his condition worsened over the sometimes-enduring days and restless nights of the completely full moon. It was close to September 25th, the day his parents were killed by the Lucario thug that Andrew killed a few months ago also, although he did have a strange feeling that somebody was watching over him lately, as if they were recording his every movement, studying him; or maybe he was just a bit paranoid since the time of the year.

It was September 24th, as Andrew walked out of town and went to visit his parents graves to pay his respects.
"Mom, dad, it's that time of year again..." Andrew said as he looked up at the sky with his fleece-jacket on, standing in front of his parents tombstones. "It's almost the 4th aniversary you were killed.. But I brought justice and killed the killer" Andrew said looking down with a straight face. He stayed standing, silently as the various coloured leafs around him blew with the breeze of the wind. He then lay a white rose on both of their graves and walked away towards home. The sun was starting to set into the moonless night as Andrew walked through the downtown and stopped for some food. He stopped at a burger joint and bought a triple-stacked burger with everything on it. He was walking home while eating it and went through a backstreet since there were too many people on the main street. As he walked past a tree, he head a quiet moaning sound. He kept walking, but slowly as he heard it again.
Andrew turned around and looked behind the tree and saw a tiny, wounded eevee girl(By the way, in this chapter, Niv is always going to be in her freal Eevee form, not anthro form) with brown eyes and greyish-brown fur and blue at the end of some parts of her fur. Immediately his instincts kicked in and he went to her to see if she was okay. she had gashes all over her torso and she had blood stained all over her face.
"Who are you, and what happened?" Andrew questioned the little eevee girl.
The eevee girl coughed before she replied to him with "M-... M-my name is N-Niv... I was suddenly attacked". She fainted after saying that, probably usign the last bit of her strength to try to tell him. Andrew wrapped up his burger and stuffed it in his jacket pocket as he picked up Niv and started to walk home quickly.
About ten minutes later, they arrived at Andrew's house and he lay Niv down on his couch as he went to get some water. Niv woke up soon after he lay her down and she barely knew what was going on, or where she was. She was in an environment she has never been in, and started to panic. "W-where am I?! What is this?!" She yelled as she went to the floor, but fell to her feet because of her injuries. Andrew quickly ran towards her, although, seeing him as an enemy, Niv attempted to attack him, but she fell down again with tears rolling down her face.
"It's okay Niv, you're fine now... You're in my house, and I'll try to fix you up good" Andrew said with a reassuring tone in his voice. Niv actually calmed down and sta on the couch calmly.
"As you already know, my name is Niv. I was attacked by someone when I was wandering the city, they tried to capture me, but i was able to fight them off" She said as she grabbed her torso wounds and winced in pain.
"It looks like you got cut up pretty badly... And there is a bit of blood on your face. I think you need to be cleaned up and taken care of" Andrew said to her as he started to walk upstairs to the bathroom to turn on the tub.
"What are you doing?" Niv asked him, as she didn't have a clue with what was going on.
"I'm going to give you a bath and clean you up" Andrew said to the questionable Niv.
"Myu... I can bathe myself.." She said as she started to lick herself.
"No no no, I mean in a tub." Andrew told her as she licked herself.
"Tub...? What's that?" She said as she tilted her head a bit.
"... A tub is where people, and sometimes poemon, go in so they can bathe themselves thoroughly" Andrew replied to her with a bit of slowness in his voice. Niv nodded her head and let Andrew carry her to the bathroom, and he put her in the tub. The water was a bit warm, so Niv started to relax more as Andrew started to scrub her with a rag and some soap.
10 minutes later, after the bath, Andrew got some bandages to wrap Niv's injuries in, along with some iodine to let it heal faster.
"Ayeee!" Niv screamed as the iodine touched her open wound.
"It's gonna sting a little, but this stuff lets your wounds heal faster.." Andrew said as he wrapped the bandage around her wounds. Niv smiled at him as he taped the bandages onto her, securing them into place. "There we go, done..." Andrew said as he got up and pet Niv on the head. "So... what were you doing around here anyway? You don't seem to be from these parts..." Andrew questionably told Niv as they walked downstairs.
"I'm actually a traveler, I go everywhere.." Niv told Andrew as she sniffed the air. She smelled the burger that was still in Andrew's jacket pocket as her stomach rumbled loud enough that Andrew could hear it.
"Ya hungry?" Andrew asked Niv, who nodded yes. Andrew reached into his pocket and took out the semi-squished burger, and gave it to Niv. Niv happilly ate it with a very cheerful expression. A few minutes later, Niv was done eating and walked towards Andrew, who was on the couch again listening to his music. She jumped on his lap and murred, expecting him to pet her.
As Andrew pet Niv, a Darkrai was outside on a rooftop, watching what was going on. His cold, red eyes, gleaming in the darkness as a cold veil surrounded him, and the flame-like appendages on his arms blew with the breeze...
